You are really sugared out and not into scarfing the ooey-gooey heavy stuff...right?
BUT, yet we all know we do need our sweets or we feel deprived, right?
So, let Herb come to the rescue witha different, rich and just enough sweet herb-ed baked goodie.
Poppy Seed Cake....

1 1/4 cup water
1 pkg. yellow/white cake mix
l/4 cup vegetable oil

*** Toasted seeds have a deeper, richer flavor, but, many prefer them un-toasted in cakes...you need to experiment with them to decide if you wish to use toasted seeds in cake.
To begin....soak poppy seeds 30 min in 1 1/4 cup water...pre-heay your oven to 350....
grease & flour pan(s)...1 bundt/heavy angel food or 2 8-9 in layer pans......
Ready to mix.....blend cake mix, oil, eggs, seeds and (soaking) water.....mix well...make sure seeds are distributed well throughout batter....
Pour in pan(s).....Bake 40-50 min...cool 10-15 min....remove from pan(s)...cool....
For bundt type cake...poke holes with fork or toothpick.....pour on lemon glaze....
For layer cake....Lemon filling and Lemon glaze for top....
